-Finally, you’re meeting Supra!

本当に素晴らしい！この世にこんなセクシーなクルマがあるかい？カーブが美しすぎるよ。
まるで新しいガールフレンドができたような気分さ。
スープラに出会えた今日この瞬間を、ずっと忘れることはないだろうね。

It is really amazing! Is there a sexier car in the world? The curves are too beautiful. It feels like I have a new girlfriend. I’ll never forget this moment when I first met Supra.

ー本当に納車を心待ちにされていましたからね
-I was really looking forward to the delivery.

そうなんだよ、世界中にいる友達にKINTOでスープラを契約したことを伝えていたけれど、信じられないという人もいたんだ。
だから世界中の友人たちにやっと披露することができて嬉しいよ。
さっそくFacebookに投稿しなきゃ(笑)

Well, I told my friends around the world that I’ve signed a Supra contract with KINTO for an amazing price, and they couldn’t believe it. I’m happy that I can finally show my lovely car to my friends. I need to post this on Facebook right away (laugh).

-We are glad that you are so happy.

本当にKINTOのおかげだよ、このスープラが全部コミコミでこんなスムーズに手に入るなんて。
もっとみんなにKINTOを知ってもらいたいたくて、今回インタビューを受けようと思ったんだ。

I really want to thank KINTO for its amazing all-inclusive rates, and the process transparency too that allowed me to get this Supra so smoothly. I want more people to know about KINTO, so I decided to accpet this interview.

ーこれまではどのような方法でクルマを利用していましたか？
-How did you use your car so far?

仕事柄さまざまな国に駐在してきたから、その国ごとに色々な方法で利用してきたんだ。
母国のイギリスでは車もバイクも購入していたし、アメリカではリース、シンガポールではレンタカーを使っていたね。
来日して3年以上経つけど、日本でもずっとレンタカーを使っていたよ。

I’ve lived in many different countries, so I’ve used cars differently in each country. I used to buy cars and motorcycles in my home country of England, leased in the US, and rented in Singapore. It’s been over 3 years since I came to Japan, but I’ve been renting for a long time.

ーKINTOのようなサービスは海外でもありましたか？
-Did you have a service like KINTO in other countries?

僕の知る限り、アメリカでは購入と同じくらいカーリースが浸透しているから、とても一般的なサービスだね。
だから今回リースも視野に入れながら、WEBで2か月にわたって色々調べていたんだ。

As far as I know, car leasing is quite popular in the US. I was researching for a car in Japan online for about two months. As a foreigner living in Japan I thought that the all-inclusive leasing option was most ideal as it includes everything and takes care of any possible ownership difficulties that I could encounter.

ーそこでKINTOが出てきたのですね？
-So that’s where you found KINTO?

プラドを検索して調べていた時に、200番目くらいにKINTOが出てきたかな(笑)
そのページがたまたま限定スープラのページだったんだ。
そこでKINTOの事を調べていって「何てパーフェクトなサービスなんだ！」って、どんどん“KINTOでスープラ”に気持ちが固まっていったよ。

I was originally thinking of a Land Cruiser Prado and KINTO showed up at about the 200th search result (laugh). Luckily for me, that was the limited Supra. That got me into researching about KINTO and got me to realize that “this is such a perfect service!”, which accelerated my commitment to sign for the Supra with KINTO.

ーKINTOを“パーフェクトなサービス”と感じた理由はどんなところですか？
-Why do you think that KINTO is the “perfect service”?

まずは費用もサービスも全てがコミコミなところ。
クルマの保険や税金、メンテナンスの事を考えるのは本当に面倒な事だし、以前ローンを組もうとしたら、外国人は受け入れ対象外だって言われたこともあってね。
そしてWEBに全ての情報があって、そのままWEBで契約まで完了できるところ。
大量の書類やハンコなんてナンセンスだ、KINTOはそういったものがないから最高だよ。

First of all, the cost and service are all-inclusive, as it can be quite annoying having to think about car insurance, taxes and maintenance, and as a foreigner I’ve been unable to take out a loan before. Then there is the website with all the necessary information, and you can complete the contract all on the website. This way I didn’t need to deal with a lot of nonsense like documents and stamps, KINTO is the best.

ー納車に至るまでに大変だったことはありましたか？
-Did you have any difficulties in arranging the car delivery?

KINTOはWEBサイトに全て情報があるので、google翻訳でだいたいのことは理解はできたんだ。
でも、日本特有の車両登録や車庫証明の仕組みは大変で書類を求められたし、警察が本当に自宅の駐車場を見に来たのには驚いたよ。
納車に至る準備まで、KINTOのスタッフにサポートをしてもらったから、とっても心強かった。
グローバル対応なWEBサイトを作ってくれると、僕らのような外国人ユーザーがもっともっと増えるだろうね。

KINTO has all the information on the website, so I could use Google Translate to understand most of it.However, the vehicle registration process was long and required a lot of paperwork. I was somewhat surprised by needing the police to confirm that I have a parking space at my house even though it is in the housing contract. But, It was very encouraging because the KINTO staff supported me thoughout the process. If you create a more global website, the number of foreign customers like me should definitely increase.

こんなに素晴らしいプログラムなのに、友人たちは誰もKINTOを知らなかったんだ。もったいない！
実際にスープラに乗っている僕を見たら、きっと世界中のみんながKINTOに興味を持ってくれるはずだよ。
サイトがパンクしないように、ちゃんと準備しておいた方がいいね(笑)

Even though it is such a wonderful program, none of my friends knew about KINTO. Mottainai! If you see me actually driving the Supra, I’m sure people around the world would become interested in KINTO.  Be prepared for all the traffic to the website (laugh).
